Pokój z Widokiem na Wojnę - Gra pozorów (teledysk)
2011-06-29 00:27

Tymczasem sprawdźcie nowy klip promujący to wydawnictwo. Pokój z Widokiem na Wojnę - Gra pozorów

iVyiITPPaIcHzkNnExcessive BarkingExcessive barking is one of the most comomn complaints against dogs. The word excessive is a major part of the cause of the dilemma. Since it is open to interpretation, it brings on problems with neighbors, animal control officers and local governing bodies. Interestingly, most dog owners are not bothered by their dog\'s barking, either because the most offensive barking takes place when the owner is absent or because the owner believes that by barking, the dog is fulfilling its role as a \"watchdog\". Many dogs are allowed and even encouraged to bark when the tendency begins at between four and six months of age. However, the owners are bothered by the complaints of their neighbors and the troubles that these bring. There are a large variety of pricey antibark shock collars available at pet supermarkets and through those pet supply catalogues that are always stuffing your mailbox. The key here is large variety. Usually, when there are a number of solutions to a single problem, it means that none of them work well. Often, these collars cause other behavior problems such as panicking the dog and causing it to run away. Or, the dog figures out when he or she is wearing the collar and is forced to wear this cumbersome and even dangerous, because it can get caught on things, device all of the time.Tranquilizers can be used, but their effectiveness usually wears off with the dosage. Surgery can stop the problem, but it is not something that I would recommend. Just a personal bias. Most excessive barkers are assertive dogs. The Puppy Aptitude Test is administered to a puppy between the age of five and seven weeks. In the Social/Dominance portion of the test, the puppy is scored on a scale of from one to six with six being the most assertive or dominant. Dogs that will eventually develop a problem with excessive barking usually score around five or five and a half. That gives us a profile of the type of dog that will be a barker, but tells us nothing about the causes of the barking. Before we can begin a program to correct excessive barking, we have to determine the root cause of the problem and for this, we have to take a close look at the owner and the owners relationship with the dog. Just about all cases of excessive barking fall into three categories; a nervous owner, prolonged periods of forced isolation for the dog, and a frustrated dog.In today\'s society, many people feel anxious about their environment. A strange noise in or around the home, a suspicious car passing, or a group of boisterous teenagers walking or driving by can put an owner on edge. And, this is communicated to the dog, setting off a round of barking. To correct the dog\'s barking, the owner should work at not seeming to be anxious. Notice, I did not say don\'t be anxious. That would be similar to telling someone not to worry about the bills that they owe or not to worry about their next pay raise or promotion. In many environments, the feeling of anxiousness is justified. But, if want to control your dog\'s barking, don\'t let the dog know that you are anxious and let the dog know that you are in control. Teach the dog a few basic obedience commands such as sit, down, and/or heel. Then, each time that a situation arises that causes the dog anxiety, give the command and highly praise the dog. This will relieve the anxiety, divert the dog\'s attention and let the dog know that you are in charge. Doing this consistently for a week or two might even end the dog\'s barking while you are absent. If the problem is prolonged periods of forced isolation, then the relationship between dog and the owner must be examined. Isolation should never be used as a punishment, especially long periods of isolation. When a dog does something wrong, correct it, discipline it, and then get on with it, it\'s over. Start to build the dog\'s self-confidence. Many years ago, when I worked with youngsters, I had a supervisor who used to tell us, \"You can verbally knock a kid down and drive him into the ground, but you have to pick him up again, dust him off, and tell him that he\'s still a good kid.\" Pretty good advice for raising children or dogs. Fences, windows and tethers restrict a dog\'s freedom and frustrate the dog. Where possible, dogs should be kept away from windows and fences, or the windows and fences should not allow the dog to see through them. Dogs should not be tethered for any length of time, especially if the owner is not present. If a dog is left tethered, barking is going to be the least of the owner\'s problems. Correcting the dog that barks when the owner is absent requires a little more time and creativity. First, begin a pattern. Every time that the dog begins to bark, or better yet when the stimuli for barking begins before the dog starts barking, introduce a noise. This can be an ultrasonic device or something far less sophisticated. I use a coin against a glass window. After you have corrected the dog a number of times in your presence and you are getting the results that you want, you are ready to correct the dog \"in your absence\". Make believe that you are leaving for the day. You may have to pull your car out of the driveway, park it down the street and walk back to your house. Now, watch for the stimuli. What you are trying to do is to correct the dog by introducing the noise at the onset of the stimuli before the dog begins to bark. By doing this, we involving the dog\'s orienting reflex and, as the researcher Sokolov pointed out, repetitious stimulation of this reflex causes a quiet well being. Perform this exercise for about fifteen to thirty minutes at a time. Then, \"return home\" in a happy, relaxed manner. Do this three or four times a day for two to three consecutive days and the problem should be cured.Anthony CherubiniAnswerDogs bark for many reasons, they bark in response outside stimulus or just because they are bored and want attention, any attention. Excessive barking is often attention-seeking behavior. Dogs needing attention will bark even if the consequences are not pleasant for him. Even if a dog is scolded or physically punished (which I DO NOT RECOMMEND), they will still bark because at least for the dog, he is getting attention even if its bad attention. It\'s kind of a circular problem. The dog barks to get attention. But he gets in trouble but it\'s attention so he continues to bark even though it is an undesirable behavior.EXAMPLES OF BARKING AS A RESPONSE TO OUTSIDE STIMULUS1. Dog sees someone walk by the yard and barks is natural response to defending his territory. Once the people pass the barking stops. If the people stay in view of the dog for a period of time, the dog could continue to bark once they leave or the stimulus has been removed the barking stops. If you live in a busy area where there are many things, or people your dog feels he needs to defend his territory from you might not be able to leave him in the yard for extended periods of time or you may need to change your dog\'s environment.2. Your dog barks in the house when someone comes to the door. He is alerting you that someone is on your property. I always tell my dog, Good Girl, It\'s OK (My release word). And if she barks again I say Ah Ah Ah. (That\'s my word for what you are doing is no longer unacceptable). I then ask her to sit and then answer the door.3. Your dog might run to the window and bark because he sees or hears something he is alerting you about. I go to the window and check it out then release my dog from alerting me as above. If she continues to bark I give her a fast Authoritative Shhh sound (my pack leader word for that\'s enough, that I use to correct her in all my training. It gets her attention and I ensure she looks at me when I say it). If she barks again and she usually doesn\'t, I remove her from the window (thus removing the reason for barking) and ask her to go lie down. 4. Barking On a Lead due to outside stimulus. You\'re walking your dog and he sees another dog, a rabbit, people approaching. While walking my dog, whether she lags behind, runs ahead, stops to sniff, barks . I correct her the moment she starts the inappropriate behavior by quickly and gently yanking the lead towards me. I do not attempt to hurt her. Only to get her attention on me and I use a verbal Authoritative Shhh sound at the same time, then I relax my hand at my left side and continue walking. If she continues the behavior, I repeat the correction. This sends a message that I don\'t like what you are doing right now and I want you to pay attention to me. I use this correction whenever my dogs behave inappropriately on a lead. When off lead, I use a verbal correction, I lean towards her, put my hand out towards her and point at her, and look her in the eye and say Shhh all at the same time. This is a dominant position and corrects the dog while in the act. Used consistently my dogs learn that it is a correction. They are always praised for an appropriate response. With a Good Girl, Good Shh. Good Sit, Good Stay in an excited tone of voice. I pet them, I hug them, I treat them to show them that I like what they are doing right now.EXAMPLES OF BARKING FOR NO APPARENT REASONTruth be told, your dog does have a reason for barking but you might not know what it is. Here\'s where its important to understand your dog.No apparent reason means the dog is:1. Anxious2. Bored, or3. Seeking Attention because he is lonely. All of these reasons can be dealt with in order to eliminate excessive barking. Deal with the cause anxiousness, boredom, loneliness to eliminate the effect of barking. Some things you can do. Spend more time exercising your dog German Shepherds need to walk daily it is recommended that they get at least 1.5 hours walk daily. They love to retrieve a ball and go to off leash parks, and run beside a bike. Spend more time training your dog and learning how to understand your dog. Try not to leave your dog alone so long or as often. Give your dog attention and praise when he\'s doing what you want. There are products on the market that help with barking Electronic bark collar causes a slight electric shock every time he barks. Citronella collar sprays citronella in the direction of the dogs nose when he barks.I hope this provides you with the insight you need to deal effectively with your barking dog.I am not a fan of these products simply because I prefer dog that owners deal with the root cause and not cover the symptoms with gadgets that cover a problem. In the end the barking might stop but the root cause has still not been dealt with, leaving the dog in a still anxious, lonely, bored or in an undisciplined state of mind. With these you still have an anxious, lonely, bored dog that is either shocked or gets unpleasant citronella in his nose.I much prefer that owners deal first with the root cause before they consider gadgets.I am aware of dogs that bark in the house that do get attention and success has been achieved by immediately placing them in the bathroom and closing the door the moment they start to bark. Once the barking stops they are let out. This is repeated until the dog learns to stop barking. I have seen one poor lady take her dog the the bathroom 10-20 times in an hour. Her dog did stop barking.I wish you all the best and I hope I have provided some good assistance for you in this regard.
